New members!

The LXCG formally welcomed two new lab members this week.

Letizia Amadori PhD joins us as an Assistant Scientist after completing outstanding recent work on atherosclerosis mechanisms and drug repurposing strategies. Dr. Amadori will be studying how specific sarcomeric variants influence the development of the heart in addition to overseeing the hiPSC-cardiomyocyte operations and assisting with laboratory operations.

Giancarlo Diaz has begun his graduate studies with us, where he will model genetic cardiomyopathy using engineered heart tissues.
